He has participated in festivals throughout the world such as Festival Musicales Internationales Guil- Durance (France)\, Young Artist Peninsula Music Festival (USA)\, Festival Cziffra (France)\, Waterford International Music Festival (Ireland)\, Irina Kandinskaya and Friends (Russia)\, Pharos Trust Festival (Cyprus)\, Festival “Musica da camera” (Germany)\, Festival International Ciudad de Ubeda (Spain)\, Loch Shiel Spring Festival (Scotland) and has played at many important venues including The Purcell Room\, St. John’s Smith Square\, Barbican\, St. Martin-in-the-Fields\, Small Hall of Moscow Conservatoire\, Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center and Suntory Hall. Tours have taken him to Russia\, Ireland\, Germany\, Israel\, France\, Switzerland\, Spain\, Greece\, the USA\, Hong Kong and Cyprus. A dedicated chamber musician\, Yuri has worked among others with such artists as Ivry Gitlis\, Eduard Brunner\, Emanuel Abbühl\, Roger Chase and Alexander Chaushian. He was a member of the Erato Piano Trio for six years and now co-directs ChamberMusicBox\, as well as being in great demand as a guest concertmaster. \nMark Smith trained at the Royal College of Music in London where he was awarded the RCM’s Douglas Moore Horn Prize. Upon graduation\, he joined the busy freelance scene in London\, working with the various BBC orchestras\, Royal Opera House\, English National Opera\, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra\, working in recording studios and playing for shows in London’s West End. He appeared with Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt and Music Theatre Wales and founded a wind octet (Harmoniemusic of London) which made ground-breaking recordings of the virtuosic Wind Octets by Mozart’s contemporary Joseph Myslivecek\, for Virgin Classics. In 1998\, Mark joined Esbjerg Ensemble in Denmark where he remained for five years before spending a year with Denmark’s National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen before returning to the freelance scene in the UK in 2004. As a chamber musician\, Mark has been a frequent guest for Fine Arts Brass and the Haffner Winds and made the world premiere recording of Joseph Holbrooke’s rediscovered Horn Trio from 1907\, for Naxos Records. In 2012 Mark played the Solo Horn part in the World Premiere of Stockhausen’s extraordinary and bizarre opera\, Mittwoch aus Licht for Birmingham Opera \nJulia Morneweg Born and raised in Cologne\, Julia trained at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover and at the Royal College of Music\, under the tutelage of Raphael Wallfisch\, Klaus Heitz and Leonid Gorokhov. She also performed in masterclasses with artists such as Bernard Greenhouse\, Alexander Ivashkin\, Lluis Claret and Salvatore Accardo. Julia now enjoys a busy career as a soloist and chamber musician that regularly sees her perform at prestigious venues including the London’s Southbank Centre\, St David’s Hall Cardiff\, St John’s Smith Square\, St Martin-in-the-Fields\, Zurich Tonhalle\, Martinu Hall Prague\, Trieste Opera House\, Shanghai’s Daning Theatre and The Pharos Trust (Cyprus). As a chamber musician she has collaborated with distinguished players such as Roger Vignoles\, Oleg Poliansky\, Roger Chase\, Madeleine Mitchell\, Joan Enric Lluna\, Emanuel Abbühl\, Vadim Tsibulevsky and Anna Kandinskaya. After 12 years as cellist of the highly acclaimed Erato Piano Trio\, she is now joint Artistic Director of ChamberMusicBox. She has recorded for Toccata Classics and has also been a guest with distinguished UK and European orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra\, the London Mozart Players and the Orchestra of La Scala Milan. \nLisa Bucknell enjoys a varied career as a guest artist with chamber ensembles and orchestras throughout the UK and abroad. As a chamber musician\, she has collaborated with the Sacconi Quartet and Manchester Collective\, is the principal solo violist for The Opera Story\, and performed in the Alan Bennett play Untold Stories at the National Theatre and on the West End. Lisa has enjoyed trials with the BBC Symphony Orchestra\, the BBC Concert Orchestra\, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra\, and performs regularly with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Birmingham Royal Ballet.  Lisa holds both an Artist Diploma and a Master of Performance with Distinction from the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Simon Rowland-Jones. ChamberMusicBox combines leading international artists with imaginative and daring repertoire choices to present programmes which aim to combine the much-loved with unfamiliar gems\, all in a relaxed and inclusive setting.  \nRoger Vignoles is internationally recognised as one of today’s leading collaborative pianists\, having performed in the world’s greatest venues from Carnegie Hall to La Scala. He has partnered many of today’s leading singers such as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa\, Sir Thomas Allen and Anne Sofie von Otter as well as instrumentalists such as Joshua Bell\, Heinrich Schiff and Nobuko Imai.  \nThe recipient of two prestigious Diapason d’Or awards for his recording of Weinberg’s Violin Sonatas\, Yuri Kalnits was described by reviewers as ‘an interpreter of the highest order’. His career as a soloist\, chamber music and concertmaster has taken him to many of the world’s greatest concert halls such as Lincoln Centre\, Suntory Hall\, Barbican\, Southbank Centre and the Small Hall of Moscow Conservatoire. \nAlicja Smietana has performed with some of today’s leading musical personalities such as Yuri Bashmet\, Gidon Kremer\, Nigel Kennedy and Martha Argerich. A prize-winner at numerous competitions\, she has performed as a soloist with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and at venues including the Berlin Philharmonie and the Royal Albert Hall. \nViolist Kay Stephen enjoys a distinguished career as a chamber musician. Former co-principal viola of Manchester Camerata\, she was a member of the Gildas Quartet for nearly ten years and has worked with ensembles including the Navarra\, Elias and Edinburgh Quartets and Manchester Collective. She is a regular guest principal with some of the UK’s leading orchestras.  \nAs a soloist and chamber musician\, cellist Julia Morneweg has performed around the UK and internationally at venues including the Purcell Room at London’s Southbank Centre\, St John’s Smith Square\, Zurich Tonhalle\, Martinu Hall Prague and Shanghai’s Daning Theatre.
