What has creating art meant to you over the last year?
The situation with the inability to hold concerts completely changed my plans. More than 20 of my concerts were canceled. Painting helped to relieve the stress of the invasion of force majeure in my life. All my life I have been inspired by the endless world of music – early medieval asceticism, refined Baroque sensibility, the eternal perfection of classicism, the stormy freshness of romance, the magic of fantasy of the early 20th century, the soulless indifference and boundless passion of modern art. I try to transfer my musical experience to canvas and paper as best I can.
