DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, 25 July 2021 | 5.30pm\n			 \n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\nExactly nine month after their first appearance at St Bartolomew’s Church\, Otford\, ChamberMusicBox are delighted to continue their immensely popular series of socially distanced chamber music concerts with a performance of Franz Schubert’s sublime String Quintet. \n“A perfect afternoon of music”. “Amazing!” These are just some of the audience reactions to what has rapidly becoming a favourite amongst London’s classical music lovers since the series’ inception in 2016. ChamberMusicBox combines leading international artists with imaginative and daring repertoire choices to present programmes which aim to combine the much-loved with unfamiliar gems\, all in a relaxed and inclusive setting.  \n\n			 \n				Book Now\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\nThe recipient of two prestigious Diapason d’Or awards for his recording of Weinberg’s Violin Sonatas Yuri Kalnits was described by reviewers as ‘an interpreter of the highest order’. His career as a soloist\, chamber music and concertmaster has taken him to many of the world’s greatest concert halls such as Lincoln Centre\, Suntory Hall\, Barbican\, Southbank Centre and the Small Hall of Moscow Conservatoire. \nMaria-Fiore Mazzarini regularly works with many of the UK’s finest chamber orchestras such at the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields\, London Mozart Players and and London Chamber Orchestra. She has a strong interest in contemporary music and was invited to participate in both the London Sinfonietta Academy as well as the Ensemble Modern International Academy. \nViolist Matthew Quenby enjoys a varied career as a chamber musician and principal viola of several ensembles. He also appears regularly as a soloist with London-based chamber orchestras and has been a member of the 4th Dimension Quartet\, London Concertante and recorded for EMI as part of the Lunel Quartet. \nBorn in Ekaterinburg\, distinguished Russian cellist Alexander Volpov came to the UK as a member of the Rostov String Quartet with whom he won the All-Soviet Chamber Music Competition and performed in some of Europe’s greatest concert halls\, including London’s Wigmore Hall. He currently serves as Principal Cello of Northern Ballet Sinfonia. \nAs a soloist and chamber musician\, cellist Julia Morneweg has performed around the UK and internationally at venues including the Purcell Room at London’s Southbank Centre\, St John’s Smith Square\, Zurich Tonhalle\, Martinu Hall Prague and Shanghai’s Daning Theatre.
